‘The Capital 6’ to be produced for New Year

The sixth season of the popular Iranian series ‘The Capital’ is scheduled to be produced for the next Persian New Year.

Directed by Sirous Moghadddam, the series will be ready for the next Persian calendar year of 1399.

Mohsen Tanabandeh is to start writing the script alone as he does not have late scriptwriter Khashayar Alvand with him.

Five seasons of ‘The Capital’ already came out in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2018.

The first season started with the story of a family's emigration from the small town of Aliabad to the capital, Tehran, and depicted the troubles they encounter.

Mohsen Tanabandeh, Alireza Khamseh and Rima Raminfar are among the stars in previous installments of the series.
